I’ve somehow missed on seeing this one after all this time. How do you think it holds up today, from a regular film perspective?

Pure kiddie fare. Production-wise, it’s a less scary follow-up to The Seventh Voyage of Sinbad, comparable to tom thumb and Babes in Toyland (without the song and dance numbers). A poor adaptation of Swift (only Jack Black’s 2010 wreck is worse).
